The Hindu community place the highest amount of respect to Prabhu Sri Ram and any sort of disrespect, or disregard to him can have potentially lethal consequences. A similar scenario is being observed in the case of veteran actor Prakash Raj.
Prakash Raj, who is known for his provocative comments is finding himself in a legal mess after his latest comment on Ramayan, and also the religious conflict in India.
In his elaborate statement at a media conclave, that was held recently, Prakash Raj claims Lord Ram was a North Indian, while demonic king Ravan was South Indian tribal, and their conflict began because Ram stole fruits.
This highly provocative comment on a sensitive topic has invited immediate negative feedback on social media. Several reports are suggesting that a police case with criminal charges have been pressed against Prakash Raj, and he is going to face the consequences for the same.
This was followed by another highly controversial comment from Prakash Raj as he looked to invoke religious harmony in India. “Whatever is happening in this country is a preparation of a genocide. They want to wipe out Musalman. They want to wipe out tribal people and minorities.” He said.
Prakash Raj had been openly contradicting the BJP method of operation. But when it comes to religious harmony and believe system, this is where Prakash Raj should have been a lot more careful.
