Will Ranbir’s Next Move Delay Vanga’s Animal Park?

Ranbir Kapoor is stepping into a decisive phase of his career, with multiple big-ticket films lined up and a crucial choice ahead that could shape his long-term trajectory. Having already committed to ambitious projects like Ramayana and Love & War, the actor is now carefully evaluating his next move before transitioning to Animal Park.

Current industry buzz suggests that Ranbir is likely to wrap both Ramayana and Love & War by the end of 2026. Post that, he is expected to lock his next project, with Brahmastra Part Two: Dev and Dhoom 4 emerging as the top contenders. While the former, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, expands a visually rich fantasy universe, the latter aims to reboot one of Bollywood’s most successful action franchises.

However, the decision is far from straightforward. Brahmastra 2 is still navigating script and casting hurdles, while Dhoom 4 remains in early development with key aspects yet to be finalized. Adding to the complexity is the timeline factor.

If Ranbir begins either of these large-scale projects by the end of 2026, it could directly impact the schedule of Animal Park, which is planned to go on floors by late 2027, after Sandeep Reddy Vanga completes the bound script following his ongoing project Spirit with Prabhas.

Given that big-budget films often take more than a year to complete, Ranbir needs to ensure his next project aligns seamlessly with Animal Park without causing delays or overlaps.

Sources indicate he is keen on finalizing a bound script before committing, with a decision likely by mid-2026. With high stakes and tight timelines, this choice will play a key role in defining Ranbir Kapoor’s box office dominance in the coming years.
