Why Buchi Babu Hiding Peddi’s Key Roles?

As the clock ticks down with just 30 days left for Peddi’s grand premieres on June 3, the crucial promotional phase has officially begun. At this stage, every move from the team can significantly shape audience expectations and overall buzz.

However, despite the growing anticipation, the promotional campaign has been surprisingly restrained so far.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has yet to unveil substantial content featuring key members of the cast. He has released a teaser, songs, and the “Kusthi” glimpse, all of which feature only Ram Charan.

While first look posters of actors like Siva Rajkumar, Divyendu, and Jagapathi Babu created initial curiosity, they offered only a glimpse without deeper insight into their characters.

Siva Rajkumar is a massive star with a commanding screen presence. Especially after his powerful cameo in Jailer, Telugu audiences have strongly connected with him. Offering even a small introduction to his role in this film would instantly boost excitement and give fans something more to look forward to.

Divyendu, widely recognized for his role in Mirzapur, enjoys strong popularity among youth and Gen Z audiences. His energetic screen presence and unique style have already built anticipation. Seeing him alongside Ram Charan has raised curiosity, and a brief glimpse into his character would further elevate that buzz.

Jagapathi Babu, known for his incredible versatility, has once again grabbed attention with his striking first look. He is an actor who can add depth to any role, and fans are already intrigued. Giving a short insight into his character would only amplify the excitement and strengthen the film’s overall appeal.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is expected to play a significant role, has so far been visible only in the “Chikiri” song. While the track generated good traction, it doesn’t fully establish her character or importance within the story.

With such a strong ensemble, the Buchi team has a valuable opportunity to elevate excitement by releasing character teasers, short promos, or behind-the-scenes glimpses. These elements can help audiences connect emotionally and build clearer expectations.

With just a month remaining, intensifying the promotional strategy is not just an option, it’s essential for Peddi to reach its full potential.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with music composed by AR Rahman, the film is bankrolled by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas. Peddi is set to storm theatres on June 4.
