Filmmaker duo Raj-DK are planning to collaborate with Salman Khan for an exciting film. Ever since the news about this combination has come out, there have been speculations about the film’s leading lady.
Initially, it was speculated that Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the wife of Raj, would play Salman’s romantic interest. However, the latest developments say that Kareena Kapoor is the frontrunner to be a part of the film.
As per the speculations, the actress has not signed the dotted line but verbally confirmed her interest in being a part of the movie. Reportedly, Salman Khan personally called up Kareena and discussed the project with her.
Kareena is more than happy to collaborate with the team as it would be her fifth outing with Salman Khan. Earlier, both Salman and Kareena were a part of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kyon Ki, Main Aur Mrs Khanna, and Bodyguard.
Interestingly, the film features Salman Khan as a superhero. The film will loosely revolve around the plot where Salman plays the role of an ageing superhero who’s drawn back into action by circumstances beyond his control, eventually leading him into a larger conflict.
On the flip side, there is no clarity if Samantha was really considered for the film. While she is also actively pursuing offers in Bollywood cinema, she is yet to crack a big project. She did the Citadel series for Amazon Prime, created by Raj-DK, but other than that, she does not have a solid project in hand apart from Ma Inti Bangaram, which is up for release.
The Salman-Raj-DK project will be produced by Atul Agnihotri and Mythri Movie Makers.
