Athadu Actor Counters MB’s “Bollywood Can’t Afford Me” Remark

Rahul Dev is one of the talented actors in Hindi cinema who needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences, as he was seen in films like Athadu, Pournami, and others.

Of late, he has not been actively seen in Telugu movies, but his recent comments about Mahesh Babu in a recent interview have gone viral on social media.

In an interview, when Rahul was asked about his views on Mahesh Babu, Rahul said that the actor has become successful by doing certain kinds of movies, especially when he collaborated with director Trivikram Srinivas.

In fact, Rahul was a part of Athadu, which came in the combination of Trivikram and Mahesh. Rahul appreciated such a choice of films, adding that such a trend does not exist in Bollywood.

When probed more to react to Mahesh’s statement that Bollywood can’t afford him, Rahul said that Mahesh does not know the language, and that’s the reason why he does not do Bollywood films.

The comments are gaining attention as Mahesh’s fans are pointing out that Mahesh could speak Hindi fluently and that Rahul will come to know the same when Varanasi gets released.

Currently, Mahesh Babu is working with director SS Rajamouli for the film Varanasi.
