Can Peddi Escape This Nizam Mess?

Peddi is one of the upcoming big releases in Telugu. Starring Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and Jahnvi Kapoor in the lead roles, the film is already creating a special interest among the audiences. Interestingly, the film was granted permission to hike the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh, but the team is awaiting an order from the government in Telangana.

The Congress government has not been so favorable to the early shows, premieres, and ticket price hikes in the last few years after Pushpa 2 stampede. However, the film industry folks continue to put their effort into getting things done in their favor. But this is becoming a big issue in Telangana from time to time. The legal disruptions, all of a sudden, create unrest in getting the order released.

Now, the uncertain situation is back for Peddi in Telangana, with no clarity on the advance bookings, with the film about to release on 4th of this month. The team is also planning premieres tomorrow but then, there is no clarity over the same.

As long as the film industry big wigs sit with the government officials to find a joint solution in making a new policy, the issues will not get resolved. And on the top of that, the last minute hurdles will cause more damage to the films.
