Director Chindambaram, who previously made Manjummel Boys, is set to release a new film titled Balan The Boy. The makers released the original trailer yesterday, and it is receiving a positive reception from movie buffs.
The team also dropped a Telugu trailer, which affected the viewing experience. The dubbing in the trailer looks very artificial, and many movie lovers are questioning whether AI was used for the dubbing, calling it quite disappointing.
The trailer didn’t reveal much but showed the life of a kid, along with his mother, who suffers a traumatic incident. The story details are kept under wraps, but the makers tried to deliver the eerie feeling to the audience. In the process, what should have been taken care has given least importance.
It is true that the Telugu audiences give equal attention to the dubbed films, and we have successful examples like Premalu becoming a hit in Telugu.
However, it has become a trend these days to take the audience for granted by dumping the artificial voices in the trailers. The distribution network must get the fact right that the audiences need to be given a proper watching experience and not make them stay away from the film.
The music is tuned by Sushin Shyam while Vivek Harshan and Shyju Khalid handled the editing and cinematography. Venkat K Narayana is producing the film under his KVN Productions banner. The film is hitting the screens on June 19th.
