Drishyam is one of the most successful movies in Indian cinema. The successful franchise was remade into other languages, including Telugu. Recently, the team released the third part without remaking it in Telugu.
The dubbed version of the original Drishyam 3 was made available to the audience. Interestingly, the creator of the movie, Jeethu Joseph, clarified the reason behind the absence of a remake in Telugu.
According to the director, the climax that he penned might not be accepted in other languages, especially with the language-specific heroes donning the lead roles. The audiences might not expect that from those heroes, which is why the remake was not materialized. However, they are remaking the film in Hindi with some changes.
Jeethu also told that the Hindi team did not like the climax and they humbly requested if they can make necessary changes to the script to suit their market, the tastes of Hindi audiences to which he agreed. Hence, the Hindi version is shaping up.
Having said that, Drishyam 4 is not on cards yet as Jeethu is yet to crack the storyline for the same and he is not assuring of the next part anytime soon.
