Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4 continues to generate buzz, and the latest reports have added another interesting twist to the film’s casting. Earlier, industry circles suggested that Rashmika Mandanna would be playing a crucial role in the film’s flashback portions. However, fresh reports now indicate that Nayanthara is being considered for that key character.
The speculation gained momentum after recent reports claimed that Nayanthara has come on board the project in a pivotal role. If finalized, it would mark another major addition to the star-studded horror-comedy franchise.
Interestingly, Pooja Hegde’s role is said to be completely different from the flashback character. Sources suggest that she plays a prominent part in the main narrative, and a major portion of her shoot has already been completed. This has fueled talk that the makers are looking at Nayanthara for a separate track that holds significant importance to the story.
As of now, the makers have not officially revealed character details, keeping fans guessing about the film’s narrative structure. Given the franchise’s history, the flashback portions are expected to be emotionally charged and closely tied to the horror elements.
With Raghava Lawrence leading the project and multiple leading ladies reportedly involved, expectations are steadily rising. Whether Nayanthara ultimately replaces Rashmika in the much-talked-about flashback role remains to be seen, but the casting developments have certainly put Kanchana 4 back in the spotlight. An official confirmation from the team is now eagerly awaited.
