Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin, which was supposed to hit the screens this month, has been postponed to July 10. The team sought some more time to get the post-production done with utmost quality. Hence, the film is postponed.
The buzz that is slowly being generated around the film has now been paused, with no promotional activity happening around the film. However, there is an interesting scoop that one of the senior star heroes will join the project.
As per sources, one of the senior star heroes will lend his voice to the film. The voice-over is reportedly going to play a key role in the narrative, and the team thinks the presence of a star hero will elevate the film further. But, it is unclear if it is only for the intro part or else for the entire key episodes of the film.
Having said that, there are rumors about who the star hero is. While some say that since Nagarjuna is very much a part of the film from the start, the team might request him. On the other side, the names of Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Balakrishna are also doing rounds, but there is no confirmation over the same.
Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, the film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios.
