Nag Ashwin’s Big Move: 1 Hour OTT Films Ahead of Kalki 2?

Rebel Star Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD is a 1000 Crore film and the second part of the film is one of the most-hyped sequels in Indian Cinema.

Two schedules of the film are completed and the next schedule will begin from August/September.

Ahead of the film’s release, the team is planning to do 1-hour films with the main characters of the film like Dulquer Salmaan for OTT.

These films will release before the movie release and each is being planned with 20 Crore Budget. The challenge in that is the approval of OTT and the remunerations of stars.

However, if cracked, these films will explain the backstories of the characters even better because runtime of the film restricts proper explanation.

Also, the films will create more excitement and interest about the main film before the release.

If Netflix or any platform approves this, it will be a big achievement for the makers and also the brand ‘Kalki’ because these are the days even stars are struggling to get proper deals for their films.

Now that Sing Geetham duties are completed, Nag Ashwin will begin intense pre-production of Prabhas portions. The idea is to shoot non-stop for the film provided Prabhas schedules work out.
