Indian Box Office: How Much Odyssey Collected On Day 1!

One of the most anticipated films from Hollywood cinema in recent years arrived at the domestic box office this weekend. The discussion is about The Odyssey, which is directed by the legendary Christopher Nolan and it released in theatres on July 17 on a grand scale.

The latest news is that this film has opened on a pretty strong note at the ticket counters, and it has collected in the vicinity of ₹20 crore domestically.

This is one of the best opening day numbers for a non-franchise film in the domestic market and Christopher Nolan’s strong image has done the job here. This is a very positive outcome for the film on the opening day and Nolan must be pleasantly surprised with the same.

The positive thing for the film is that the English version collected far more than the domestic Telugu and Hindi versions. It is for certain that Multiplex audience have started to lap up this action drama.

The previous film from Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer had collected in the range of ₹155 crore at the Indian box office. If anything, this could be the next target for Odyssey now and the film will have to do pretty well to reach this number and go beyond the same.

Globally, this film is expected to collect more than $1 billion, and that is for certain considering the rich star cast and the Christopher Nolan directorial value.
