Anirudh Becomes the Saviour for Lokesh’s Debut Film

Looking at the way things are going, Anirudh Ravichander is looking like the biggest strength of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut film, DC. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the film features Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead and is all set to hit the screens on August 7. 

While there is curiosity surrounding Lokesh’s transition from director to actor, it is Anirudh who seems to be stealing the show at every stage of the film’s promotions. Be it the songs, teaser, or public events, the star composer has dominated the scene with his electrifying energy.

Social media is filled with comments praising Anirudh’s soundtrack, stating his music has elevated the film’s promotional material to another level and created a frenzy even before the release of the film. 

There is also an opinion that a section of the audience would watch DC on the big screen just for Anirudh’s work. There is no denying the fact that DC will have a crazy background score as the theme of the film is based on Devdas. 

With Lokesh Kanagaraj making his acting debut, expectations are naturally high. However, looking at the current trend, Anirudh is the one who is playing a key role in pulling audiences to theatres more than Lokesh Kanagaraj.
