The buzz around Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana continues to grow with every passing day. The latest news is that T-Series has acquired the music rights of the film for a massive ₹75 crore. This deal has already become a hot topic in film circles.
If the reports turn out to be true, Ramayana will set a new benchmark in Indian cinema. The film would surpass the previous record held by Pushpa 2, whose music rights were reportedly sold for around ₹65 crore.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash in the role of Ravana. The film is being mounted on a grand scale and is one of the most ambitious projects ever made in India.
Adding to the excitement, the makers are gearing up for the next big promotional step. The much-awaited trailer of Ramayana Part 1 will be released in theatres on July 30. Fans have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the world created by the team.
With record-breaking business deals already making headlines and the trailer launch around the corner, all eyes are now on the content, as it will decide how big the film will open worldwide.
