How Are the Initial Reactions to Lokesh’s DC?

Lokesh Kanagaraj has stepped in front of the camera as a lead actor for the first time with DC, and the film has opened to largely positive initial reactions from audiences. While viewers have pointed out a few shortcomings, especially in the second half, the film’s performances, music and technical quality have received widespread praise.

One of the biggest highlights, according to early reactions, is music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Social media is filled with appreciation for his powerful background score, with many calling it one of the film’s biggest strengths. Fans say Anirudh’s music elevates several key moments and adds intensity to the overall experience.

Lokesh Kanagaraj has also surprised many with his performance. Playing a deglamourised and rustic character, the filmmaker-turned-actor has earned praise for his natural screen presence. Many viewers believe he has made a confident acting debut and handled the challenging role well.

Director Arun Madheswaran is winning applause for presenting the story in a raw and realistic manner. Audiences have appreciated the film’s rustic setting, stylish visuals and overall technical brilliance, making it a visually impressive theatrical experience.

Actress Wamiqa Gabbi has also received positive feedback for her performance. Many viewers feel she has delivered a strong act and shares good chemistry with Lokesh.

However, not everything has gone in the film’s favour. Several viewers have noted that the pace drops after the interval, with the second half not matching the engaging first half. Despite these criticisms, many still feel the positives outweigh the flaws.

With encouraging word of mouth and strong appreciation for its performances and technical aspects, all eyes are now on the box office. It remains to be seen whether Lokesh Kanagaraj can attract audiences as a lead hero and convert the early reactions into solid commercial success.
