Dragon is rapidly emerging as one of the biggest Indian films, and the latest casting developments have taken the excitement to another level. Headlined by Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, the film already carries massive expectations and is nearing completion.
Now, with the likes of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt joining the project, the scale looks even bigger. Jr NTR remains one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema today, while Prashanth Neel enjoys tremendous popularity after delivering blockbusters like KGF and Salaar.
The combination itself was enough to create huge buzz among trade circles. The addition of Anil Kapoor brings experience and star power, while Shahid Kapoor’s involvement and a star like Alia Bhatt further strengthen the film’s appeal across the North Indian market.
What is particularly interesting is the film’s growing reach in the Hindi belt. With such a strong cast, Dragon now appears to have tremendous potential in North India. In fact, trade observers feel the project is shaping up to be a proper Pan India biggie with South roots. This could work hugely in the film’s favor globally.
The combination of Jr NTR, Neel, and a star-studded cast gives Dragon a strong chance of attracting audiences across languages. Business-wise too, the dynamics will change big time with the addition of these stars, and the sky is the limit for this NTR starrer.
