iBomma Ravi Wants His ₹3 Crore Back!

iBomma Ravi, who became widely known for running a popular Telugu movie piracy website, is back in the news for a completely different reason. After his arrest last year, his bank accounts were frozen as part of the investigation. Now, Ravi has approached the court seeking access to the money lying in those accounts.

Ravi was arrested by Hyderabad police in November last year in connection with the piracy case. During the investigation, police reportedly uncovered details about his operations and alleged that he had made more than ₹20 crore through piracy. Several cases were registered against him and he has remained in legal trouble since then.

According to reports, around ₹3 crore linked to Ravi was frozen in various bank accounts. Ravi has now told the court that the money being blocked has made it difficult for his family to manage their daily expenses. He has requested that at least some of the accounts be unfrozen so that his family can meet their basic needs.

The plea has now attracted attention on social media. While Ravi has raised the issue of his family’s financial difficulties, many people are questioning the request, pointing to the allegations that the money was earned through movie piracy.

The court’s decision on his request will determine whether Ravi gets access to any portion of the frozen funds.
