One of the most interesting movies that have caught up the attention of everyone in recent times is none other than AK Vs AK which released on Netflix. Featuring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap in lead roles, the film started to give feelers if that is a real story or just a fiction story with real characters. Here’s that bit of awesomeness for you.
The film’s storyline is like Anil Kapoor gets insulted by Anurag Kashyap in a live interview. Then the director wants to teach a lesson to Anil by kidnapping Sonam Kapoor and setting up a time for Anil to search her. The entire searching episode will be shot as a film, saying that it will be India’s first ‘hostage thriller’.
But then, Anil gives a major twist at the end that leaves everyone stunned. More than the story, it’s director Vikramaditya Motwane’s screenplay and the cuss words that catch our attention.
Especially Anil is terrific in his role and both the actors have comfortably put satires on each other, which are derived from their own lives. Those satires and the guest appearance by Harshavardhan Kapoor also sounds pretty interesting.
After watching this, many Telugu audiences surely feel like, will a star hero and star director from our industry attempt a similar one. Definitely, they need to have more guts and ability to accept the reality if they have to make that movie. Let’s see if Netflix will remake AK Vs AK in other languages with other stars too.
