Legendary Indian music computer AR Rahman’s mother Kareema Beegum has breathed her last on Monday morning (i.e on 28th December) due to health issues.
On several occasions, the Oscar Award winner spoke very high about his mother and he always attributed his successful career to her who actually played a very strong role. Originally named as Kasturi Sekhar, Kareema lost her husband Rajagopala Kulasekharan when Rahman was 9 years old. According to our reports, she will be cremated later today in Chennai.
Mourning the death of his mother, AR Rahman took to his Twitter handle and posted a picture of her. Within minutes of posting, condolences poured in his post. Many celebrities and journalists on social media handles are offering their condolences to the legendary musician.
On the work front, Rahman is currently busy with handful of projects in Hindi, Tamil and English languages.
