Bollywood hottie Disha Patani, who was approached by Sukumar & Co, has given shock to the T-town makers. Disha has sought a bomb as the remuneration to come on board for the special song in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa.
Although Disha acted in Puri’s Loafer, her fortunes overturned after she acted in Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 and Salman Khan’s Bharat. However, Disha’s stint in the hot item song “Do You Love Me” in Baaghi 3 scorched the screens. This seems to have caught the attention of Sukumar and Allu Arjun.
For Pushpa, Disha reportedly quoted a Rs 1.5 Crore to sizzle and groove in the special song alongside Allu Arjun. Since Sukumar’s films are known for hot item numbers and his last film Rangasthalam saw Pooja Hegde dancing with Ram Charan, Sukumar and Bunny this time wanted a Bollywood star heroine for the special number.
Since Pushpa will have its release in multiple languages, they are keen on having a prominent face from B-town. However, the makers are rethinking as Disha quoted a huge amount.
Already the budget of Pushpa shot up unexpectedly due to unforeseen special conditions. The frequent cancellation of shoots and lack of permissions in forest areas had forced Pushpa team to erect a costly forest set in Hyderabad itself. Now, the makers of Pushpa are yet to take a final call on bringing Disha on board. Let’s see.
