From past 2 days, Tollywood is embroiled in a controversy about allocation of theaters in Nizam with Dil Raju and Shirish being in the center of the controversy. Today, Mahesh Koneru, Telugu producer of Master presented the other side of the matter. He explained that Krack released in 300 odd theaters on 9th Jan and continued with the same count till 12th Jan.
On 13th Jan Master was released in 150 theaters in Nizam with Krack still having 200 plus theaters on that day. He revealed that he was informed well in advance that he will be having only 75 screens from Day 2 as two new films are releasing on 14th Jan. He said that he is extremely happy with the revenue inspite of having the least theaters among the 4 Sankranthi releases in Nizam as he understands how things work and how everybody should be given a chance to make money at the box-office.
Right now Master is running in 75 sceens in Nizam with Krack running in 100 plus screens, Red running in 200 screens and Alludu Adhurs running in 100 plus screens.
