I Refuse To Believe Rajamouli: Boney Kapoor

Boney Kapoor is one of the senior producers in the Indian film industry. He is busy as a producer and as an actor these days. Boney signed Luv Ranjan’s next which marks his debut as an actor in a full-length role. Interestingly, he is very active in film production, after a long time. We all knew that his film Maidaan with Ajay Devgn will be hitting the screens on October 15th, 2021. Rajamouli’s RRR is releasing on 13th October and it disappointed Boney Kapoor. Boney already called Rajamouli’s decision unethical. In his recent interview with Forbes, Boney opened up on this release clash.

Boney Kapoor told that he is the first to announce the release date after considering a lot of factors, but Rajamouli’s RRR announcement has come as a rude shock to him. Boney calls it an unethical decision and finds fault with Rajamouli for not even informing Ajay Devgn about the release date announcement. Rajamouli mentioned that the release date decision was not in his hands and it is the choice of his film’s producer. Boney Kapoor, however, refuses to believe Rajamouli in this aspect.

“I refuse to believe Rajamouli,” revealed Boney Kapoor, adding, “This is nothing short of sabotaging and bullying.”

Boney Kapoor also mentioned that Rajamouli approached Sridevi for Sivagami’s role in Baahubali but things did not work out. “Although there were misunderstandings in the past, the reasons that Rajamouli gave at that time were untrue,” said Boney Kapoor.

In the end, Boney expressed confidence that his Maidaan will become a big hit at the box-office.
