Allari Naresh’s experimental film Naandhi turned out to be a sleeper hit. The film’s digital rights have fetched 2.65 Crore and they are bagged by Aha. Meanwhile, producer Dil Raju has bagged the remake rights of film in four languages of Naandhi for about Rs 2.75 Crore which includes Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam remake rights.
The film is said to have raked in Rs 5.28 Crore share from theatrical collection so far. The producers of Naandhi have made over Rs 10 Crore only from theatrical, digital and remake rights. Meanwhile, the film’s satellite rights are yet to be closed. This is expected to be the icing on the cake.
Naandhi did overturn Naresh’s fortunes ending his flop saga. On the whole, the film directed by Vijay Kanakamedala worked well as the film is shot in short time with a limited budget.
So, Naandhi will soon be remade in other languages. Producer Dil Raju, who is producing Jersey Hindi remake, is expected to remake the film there.
