With her terrific performances as Jayamma in Krack and Lawyer Aadhya in Naandhi, Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has become a go-to girl for performance-oriented characters for Tollywood filmmakers. Varalaxmi’s strong screen presence has amassed her a good fan base in the Telugu states within a very short time.
Now, the latest buzz in the T-town circles reveals that Varalaxmi has been signed for a crucial role in Allu Arjun’s pan-India film which will be directed by Koratala Siva. While details about Varalaxmi’s character are still under wraps, Koratala Siva must have surely penned an author-backed role for the talented actress.
The Allu Arjun-Koratala Siva film will have a period backdrop and it will feature a Bollywood actress as the female lead. Allu Aravind’s new production house GA2 Movies and Koratala Siva’s longtime friend and distributor Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuva Sudha Arts banners will be jointly producing the project. The film will take off after both Arjun and Siva wrap up Pushpa and Acharya respectively.
