Creative director Krishna Vamsi has announced a new film on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The film is titled ‘Annam’ and the title poster strike a powerful impact. ‘Para Brahma Swaroopam’ is the tagline to the title.
The Telugu letters are written with rice while we see blood stains on the banana leaf. A sickle and ‘Mangalasuthram’ (sacred nuptial thread) are also spotted on the title poster. A dry baren land is on the backdrop of banana leaf which has English phrases such as Registration, Free Schemes, suicide, land mafia etc. It hints that the film is based on farmers.
A couple of years back Krishna Vamsi planned to make ‘Rythu’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna. However this film did not move further and out of nowhere Krishna Vamsi came up with ‘Annam’ announcement and surprised everyone. But it is yet to be known whether ‘Rythu’ and ‘Annam’ are the same project.
The pre-production work of the film has started confirms the poster.
