Alia To Return To RRR Shoot To Finish Action Scenes & Song

The first look poster of RRR’s Sita impressed all. Alia Bhatt as strong-willed and resolvent ‘Sita’ left the fans and audience more curious. While Rajamouli says her wait for Ramaraju will be legendary, the RRR team’s wait for Alia Bhatt to join the shoot appears to be bigger than anything.

RRR had been facing all the hurdles like the Covid situation and on-set injuries so far. The recent one was that Alia Bhatt had to go under quarantine as her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and her Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for Covid-19.

Now the wait seems to be over, as Alia Bhatt is all set to join the shoot for RRR in the last week of March. Alia Bhatt is left with few action scenes and a song that she is expected to finish off in 8 days.

Rajamouli’s RRR, Roudram Ranam Rudhiram is scheduled for release on October 13 this year. Apart from Ram Charan and NTR, the film also has Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson.

RRR is set in the 1920s and is a story based in North India during colonial times. The story, as said by Rajamouli, is a fictionalized account of Telugu tribal leaders Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and NTR respectively.
