Vamsi & Reddy To Direct Nithiin

Nithiin, who is prepping up for Maestro, the Telugu remake of Hindi thriller Andhadhun, has okayed two other films. Nithiin is said to be impressed with a story narrated by writer-director Vakkantham Vamsi. Nithiin is going to team up with Vamsi. After Naa Peru Surya, Vamsi wants to prove his directorial mettle again.

Meanwhile, Nithiin has also okayed director Surender Reddy’s story. Surender Reddy is currently working on a film for Pawan Kalyan. But there is a delay in Pawan’s film as Pawan would move onto his next with Harish Shankar after his AK remake and Hari Hara Veera Mallu with Krish.

Given this, Surender Reddy may resume his next film with Akhil. On the other hand, Surender Reddy has narrated a script to Nithiin and Nithiin is excited to work with him. Reddy may do Nithiin’s film after completing his film with Pawan Kalyan.

Interestingly, both Vakkantham Vamsi and Surender Reddy have worked together as the duo for several films. The duo going to direct Nithiin separately is interesting development. The two films are bankrolled by Nithiin’s home production Shreshth Movies with Krack producer Tagore Madhu. Both the stories are different and has scope to take Nithiin to the next league, say the sources in the know.
