Hotstar’s Hot Deal For Balakrishna’s Akhanda

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy working on an exciting film Akhanda. Boyapati Srinu is the film’s director. The film marks their third-time collaboration after successful films Simha and Legend. The film unit released two teasers (one last year and one this year) which hit the right chord in generating a special interest in the movie. The film’s business is open and we came to know that the makers sealed two different deals for the satellite and digital streaming rights. As per the trade sources, Balakrishna achieved his career’s highest deals with Akhanda.

Balakrishna worked with a lot of filmmakers in the recent past but when he teams up with Boyapati Srinu, the craze is different. Only Boyapati knows how to present Balakrishna perfectly on the screen. Their earlier hits at the box-office also help the producers seal big deals.

The latest buzz is that Star Maa grabbed the film’s satellite rights and Hotstar grabbed the digital streaming rights of the movie. Usually, Hotstar is picky when it comes to Telugu films but it looks like Akhanda received a really hot deal that the producer could not resist.

Pragya Jaiswal plays the film’s leading lady. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy is the film’s producer. The film is scheduled for a grand release on 28th May, 2021.
