Karthi and Rashmika played the lead roles in the recent Tamil release Sulthan. Touted to be an action drama, the movie failed to live up to the expectations. Rashmika marked her debut in Kollywood with Sulthan and she received praises for able to pull the crowds to theatres in the first weekend. The film is gearing up for an exclusive two-platform release online. We hear that the film’s Tamil version will stream on Disney+Hotstar and the film’s Telugu version will stream on Aha Video.
Earlier, Karthi’s Khaidi also got a two-platform release. The film’s Tamil version released on Amazon Prime Video while the film’s Telugu version released on Aha Video. Aha Video seems to have made a deal with the makers for the exclusive Telugu streaming rights of the movie. The film will release on both Hotstar and Aha on 2nd May globally.
Bakkiyaraj Kannan is the write and director of the movie. SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu produced the film under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the film’s music director.
