Rishabh Pant Wins Over Dhoni & Rohit Sharma

We all know how Rishabh Pant evolved as a cricketer in the last three years. Now, he is proving himself as a capable captain by leading his team to formidable victories against big sides. Rishab is currently leading Delhi Capitals in the absence of Shreyas Iyer. There were doubts about his captaincy initially but Pant is proving his critics wrong by winning big matches.

Delhi played four matches in this edition and won three of them. All three victories came against big teams like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Punjab Kings. Winning against tactical geniuses like MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma is not a small thing. It is a big achievement for Pant to win against the likes of MSD and Rohit.

With these wins, Pant made a mark at the very initial stages of the tournament. He is quite good at rotating the bowlers as well. The supreme form of Shikhar Dhawan is also helping Pant on the batting front. On the whole, the young man is leading his balanced side very well. It is quite early to say this but if Pant manages to lead his team to bigger victories in this tournament, we may see him leading Delhi Capitals in the upcoming seasons as well.
