OTT Release: Check on Sun Nxt, Cinema Bandi on Netflix

To entertain audiences during this long Ramadan weekend, the OTT platforms have come up with two interesting Telugu releases. They are Check and Cinema Bandi. While Check premieres on Sun Nxt today, Cinema Bandi premieres on Netflix.

Directed by Chandrashekhar Yeleti, Check features Nithiin in the lead role. The film had a theatrical release in February. It received a below-average response at the box office. People who missed watching it in theatres can now catch it on Sun Nxt. Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Prakash Varrier played the other important roles in the movie.

Backed by Bollywood directors Raj and DK, Cinema Bandi is a little independent feature that is having a direct digital release on Netflix. It features an entirely new cast and crew. The trailer got a good response from the viewers and we have to see how well it gets received now, after the release.

Meanwhile, another two films, Battala Ramaswamy Biopiccu and Vijay Sethupathi are also releasing today. Both films opted for direct digital release. The former is premiering on Zee5. The latter is the dubbed version of the Tamil film Sethupathi. It premieres today on Aha.
