Samantha Gets Trolled Brutally For ‘The Family Man 2’

The first season of the Amazon Prime web series, The Family Man ended with a cliff-hanger ending. The expectations on the second season have been very high. As none other than Tollywood starlet Samantha Akkineni is going to play a key role Raji, an LTTE terrorist in the web series, the fans are super excited to watch the series. Ending the long wait, the makers have finally unveiled the trailer of the series and also revealed that the show is all set to stream on Amazon Prime from June 4.

A section of the audience are trolling the makers claiming that the web series is showcasing Tamil Tigers as terrorists and are linking them to ISIS. Some are commenting that it is a bad move on the part of makers to come up with this. They are demanding a ban on the web series.

On the other hand, some are also brutally trolling Samantha Akkineni for playing an LTTE terrorist in this series. The actress who basically is from Tamilnadu is facing a lot of criticism from Tamil people. With this project, Samantha is aiming big to make a career in Bollywood. But it looks like an unexpected start from the actress. As of now, neither Samantha nor the makers of the show responded to this criticism. If the same continues, the series will garner negative buzz even before the release and it would surely affect the viewership. A lot of Tamilians are posting tweets, asking for a permanent ban on the series.

For the uninitiated, Tamil Tigers is a guerrilla organization that sought to establish an independent Tamil state, Eelam, in Sri Lanka.

The trailer also hinted that Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani who are playing wife and husband in the series go to a marriage counselor and it trailer promised an action-packed series with some intriguing twists and turns.
