The second wave has opened the gates for OTT and respective platforms are trying to bring new films that were released before the second wave hit. Youth Star Nithiin’s last outing ‘Rang De’ which fared averagely at the box office is going to storm the OTT.
Zee5 platform has owned the digital rights of the film and it will be rolling out on its platform from June 12th. The formal announcement is made shortly.
‘Rang De’ was a romantic entertainer and released on March 26th. Opened to mixed talk, the film managed decent collections in the first weekend but then dropped its footfall.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the film had Keerthy Suresh in the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad had composed music and the audio album had a couple of chartbusters.
