A short time ago, the young and dynamic Bollywood hero, Kartik Aaryan was removed from Dostana 2, leaving his fans in brutal shock. Soon after, it stirred the discussion on nepotism and sparked a debate on natural talent vs star kids. Also, filmmaker Karan Johar severed his professional as well as personal ties/commitments with Kartik which, in turn, bought in a lot of rumours and fury over Mr Johar.
After kicking up the stink, Kartik Aaryan has now been reportedly opted out of a film that is being bankrolled by SRK’s production house Red Chillies. The official statement from either Kartik or Red Chillies are yet to be issued. According to the TOI, Karthik Aaryan is not on good terms with the makers as he had creative issues with the film’s director Ajay Bahl.
It is also reported that Kartik was bothered and not fully pleased with the script. Kartik expressed his unhappiness over the film’s script to Bahl. To much surprise, he is also apparently unhappy with Katrina Kaif’s casting in the movie since the film was a love story Kartik reportedly felt that Katrina would look older to him.
With this, Kartik is once again making headlines after Dostana 2 fallout. A few weeks ago, Dharma Productions or any other film business of Karan Johar’s has vowed never to work with Kartik again. Production on Dostana 2 was already underway, and it is rare for a big production house to replace a prominent actor midway. Moreover, Kartik had already completed 20 days of shoot for the film.
On the work front, Kartik is busy with his upcoming films, Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Yesterday, we have also learnt that the actor is teaming up with Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures for an epic love story and it will be directed by national award director, Sameer Vidhwans.
