Those who have been following cricket and social media closely might have aware of the relationship between young Indian batsman Shubman Gill and Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. These two youngsters share cute comments and messages with each other on Instagram.
This led fans to assume that both of them are in a relationship. Sometimes, other cricketers like Hardik Pandya also write some teasing comments on Shubman’s profile whenever Sara comments on any of his posts. All these activities led fans to believe that the youngsters are indeed in a relationship. They have also nicknamed Shubman as ‘Daamaad (son-in-law).’
However, Shubman clarified in a recent chat session that he is not in any relationship. When a fan asked whether he is single, the 21-year-old cricketer said, “Oh yes! I am. I have no plans of cloning myself in the near future, either.” With this statement, Shubman tried to put an end to all the rumours. We have to see if media and fans stop linking him up with Sara at least now.
Shubman will leave for England soon with the rest of the Indian Test team to play the WTC final against New Zealand.
