Producer laughs at rumours on Mahesh-Rajamouli project

SS Rajamouli’s film with Superstar Mahesh Babu is certainly one of the prestigious projects in the country. The duo is in talks for collaboration for over a decade now. KL Narayana, the legendary producer is ready to take the film in the combination on floors. The director, producer, and actor confirmed their project on multiple occasions and this time, the film is hitting the floors without further delay. Rajamouli’s immediate project, after RRR, is with Mahesh Babu. However, there are rumors about the film’s story which producer KL Narayana denied in a recent interview.

Talking in an interview, KL Narayana spilled the beans on his next production with Mahesh and Rajamouli. KL Narayana said that he is waiting for Rajamouli’s go-ahead to begin the works for the movie. “I told Rajamouli to inform me whenever he is ready and I am just waiting for his call,” told the senior producer.

When asked if the rumors about the film having a South Africa backdrop and the movie being made as a forest adventure, the producer denied them. “I myself do not have any idea about the story and how come anyone else spread the news about the film’s story. There is no truth in the speculations in circulation,” revealed KL Narayana.

Earlier, writer Vijayendra Prasad confirmed with a Bollywood web portal that he is trying to write something like an African forest adventure film. It looks like the project is still in the pre-mature stage and it takes some more time for everyone involved to come on to the same page.

As soon as Rajamouli wraps up RRR, we may get some clarity on his next film with Mahesh Babu.
