It has been a long time since we saw Priyamani on the Telugu silver screen. After this huge gap, she is now coming with two consecutive releases, Narappa and Virata Parvam. While she played the female lead in the former, she acted in a pivotal role in the latter. The National Award-winning actress revealed that both these films are important projects of her career.
Speaking with Newsmeter, Priyamani stated that he was supposed to act with Venkatesh thrice in the past but that didn’t happen due to various reasons. When she was offered a role in Narappa, the actress didn’t want to miss it at all. Priyamani went all praises for Venkatesh and said that he is a passionate and dedicated actor. She also revealed that a few changes have been made in Narappa to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences.
Priyamani will be playing the role of a Naxalite in Virata Parvam. She revealed her character’s name as Bharatakka, who will be a close-aide of lead actor Rana Daggubati. Apparently, Bharatakka is a strong-headed woman who has her own ideologies. Priyamani also added that all the woman characters in this film have got potential roles.
Both Narappa and Virata Parvam got done with their shoots and will hit the screens once theatres reopen.
