“That’s not my ID card,” Meera Chopra Replies Trolls

Bangaram actress Meera Chopra received flack for posing as a front line worker to get the first shot of vaccine in Mumbai. Niranjan Davkhare, the BJP’s Thane unit president exposed that the actress used unfair means to get vaccinated. He even shared a picture of the fake identity card that Meera Chopra submitted while getting the vaccination. However, the actress has a different version on the same.

Sharing a official statement on Twitter, the actress wrote, “My statement on the articles that has been coming out fr my vaccine shot!!”

“We all want to get vaccinated and we all are trying our best to do that. Similarly i also tried by asking help frm people i knew and after 1 month of trying i was able to get myself registered in one of the centers. I was just asked to send in my adhar card. The id which has been flouting on social media is not mine. I was asked for my adhar card for registration, and thats the only id i gave. No id is valid until it has your signature. I myself saw that so called id for the first time when it came on twitter. I totally condemn such practises and if any such id has been made even i would want to know how and why,” stated the actress.

This is not the first time that Meera Chopra is in a controversy. Earlier, she said that she does not know who Jr NTR is and received backlash from Tollywood fans on Twitter.
