“It Was Very Uncomfortable Shooting For Sridevi Song”

In a recent interview, heroine Shruti Haasan said that wearing only a saree in snow for the shoot is physically challenging and very uncomfortable but because of the demand & trend, she went ahead. ‘Sridevi Chiranjeevi’ single from ‘Waltair Veerayya’ was released a couple of weeks before and it became a chartbuster.

Shruti Haasan gave an interview recently and spoke about her films which are racing against each other for Sankranthi. The single ‘Sridevi Chiranjeevi’ fetched 11 Million views so far and featured Shruti Haasan & Chiranjeevi braving the cold in vibrant dresses & steps.

When asked about the experience of shooting the song in Europe, she said “I do hope and completely be very honest that I don’t have to do another song in the snow wearing a saree because physically it is so uncomfortable but I guess, people still want to see it and we will have to keep doing it. It is truly uncomfortable for a woman.”

Along with Chiranjeevi & Shruti Haasan, the film also stars Ravi Teja & Catherine Tresa and is set to hit the screen on January 13, 2023.
