Tirumala Laddu Sales Picked Up Big Time!

For the last few years, there have been several complaints about the quality of the famous and sacred Tirumala Laddu. The situation turned particularly detrimental up till 2024 as there were serious concerns about the quality of the product. 

However, with the return of the NDA government, the TTD activities were largely revamped and special measures were taken to enhance the quality of the laddu. 

Top quality ghee and core ingredients were procured by the new board, and this has started to reflect in the increased sales of laddus in the year 2025 as compared to the previous year. 

Record-high Srivari Laddu prasadam sales marked 2025, with a 10% increase over 2024. A highest-ever single-day sale of 5.13 lakh laddus was recorded on December 27. Devotees expressed satisfaction with improved taste and quality, the latest post from the TTD social media handle read. 

After all the controversy that happened around the quality of the laddu and the alleged contamination, this new development which indicated increased laddu sales suggests that the public has started to trust in the new system that’s in place.
