But shortly, after the election of Donald Trump, there was an absolute follow out between the two of them as policies regarding DOGE and EV mandating weren’t implemented as Musk had wanted.
At one point, it was reported that Elon had even been plotting to strengthen vice president JD Vance over Trump as a sign of protest against the latter.
But the latest developments are suggesting that the recent reconciliation between Trump and Elon is working the trick and the latter is preparing to support the U.S. president again.
Reports circulating online say Elon Musk is preparing to financially support Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections, which could help President Trump secure stronger backing for the second half of his term.
The development is gaining more attention after Musk was also seen meeting with JD Vance, fueling speculation about deeper political intentions beyond the Trump administrations.
