AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has once again reviewed the case of missing girl Gnaneshwari from Agraharam in Tuni mandal of Kakinada district. The child has been missing for nearly a week, raising concern across the region.
Pawan spoke to Kakinada SP over phone and sought a detailed update on the ongoing search operation. He stressed the need to intensify efforts and speed up the investigation.
The Deputy CM suggested deploying additional teams to trace the girl at the earliest. He also advised authorities to make use of NDRF services along with police and SDRF teams already engaged in the operation.
He further asked officials to involve forest department night watchers, base camp watchers and experts who can navigate dense forest areas. A thorough search of nearby forest regions was also suggested.
According to the SP, more than 400 personnel are currently participating in the search. Advanced drones are being used to scan every possible location in and around the area.
Police have also examined footage from 38 CCTV cameras near the girl’s residence. With a week having passed since the disappearance, Pawan directed officials to accelerate the probe and leave no stone unturned.
