Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film “Oppenheimer” debuted on Peacock’s streaming platform on February 16th. Now, the viewers in India are curious to watch the film on OTT. The Indian audiences can expect to see it on JioCinema starting March 21st. JioCinema has a deal with Peacock, and the film will be available on the platform in exactly a month.
Oppenheimer chronicles the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, portrayed by Cillian Murphy, a pivotal figure in the development of the atomic bomb during World War II. The film also stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.
The film had a grand release worldwide, and we hear that it grossed over $950 million worldwide. Not just because of its theatrical success, the film also managed to grab a lot of awards, including Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Director at the Golden Globes, as well as seven awards from BAFTA.
