The sheer volume of the Indian population in the United States has been on a constant rise annually. It has reached a point where several U.S. states have started to officially recognise Indian festivals and communicate public holidays, with the latest being California.
Now, it is the turn of United States president Donald Trump to publicly display his celebratory spirit on the occasion of Diwali.
Incidentally, Trump partook in a traditional lamp lighting festivity at the White House on the occasion of Diwali last night. He carried the long tradition of lighting the traditional lamp at the White House which has been a famous practice at the White House over the years.
Trump had Indian origin officers like Kash Patel and Tulasi Gabbar by his side during the ceremony and expectedly so as well.
