Trump Says He Hired Official After Noticing His Wife

Donald Trump is known for his weak temperament and impulsive nature, and this was again on display as his spoke in a very candid manner about appointing an officer after finding his wife attractive.

In what could be considered an awkward comment from the President of the United States, he claimed that he hired Doug Burgum for Secretary of Interior position because he was attracted to the latter’s wife Kathryn

“I saw them riding horses in a video. And I said, Who is that? I was talking about her, not him. I said I’m gonna hire her because anybody that has somebody like you to be with, it’s an amazing tribute.” Trump said while seated at the Oval Office.

This happened while Trump was signing an executive order to combat addiction and substance abuse, which he called the Great American Recovery Initiative.

The husband and wife that Trump was discussing were right beside him during this conversation, and they were seen blushing while the President made this socially awkward statement. This video is not going viral on social media, and people are discussing how Trump had the authority to reveal that he appointed a man for a crucial position while finding his wife attractive.
