The United States Department of State has issued an urgent travel advisory asking American citizens to leave several Middle East countries immediately due to rising tensions in the region.
The advisory covers Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Gaza, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Yemen. Officials stated that the security situation is changing rapidly and Americans in these areas could face serious risks. Citizens have been asked to contact the nearest US embassy for assistance and make arrangements to depart as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, reports confirmed a drone attack on the US Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Local authorities said two drones were involved in the incident. Minor damage was reported, and further details are still awaited. There are no confirmed reports of casualties so far.
The US government said it is closely monitoring developments and will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves.
