What Now! US Media Attacking Hindu Temples in USA?

Over the last decade, the volume of the Indian population that has been travelling to the United States grew multiple times. In occur with this, there are certain places like Dallas and others, which have undergone cultural change with the influx of the Indian population.

News channel named Frontlines TPUSA has published a report against the recently constructed Hanuman temple in Frisco, Texas and here’s what they had to say on the same. 

“Back in 2010 the Indian/Asian population made up 10% of the demographic but that has since surged to over 30% with some school districts now being majority Asian.

On top of the growing demographic of Indians to the area has come a growing number of Hindu temples and the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple is one of the largest. This temple was built around the so-called monkey-god, Hanuman, and inside attendees were praying for “health and job visas.” The media report from this channel read. 

Many Texans are pointing out how quickly the Indian population is growing and say it is changing not only the demographics but also the culture of Texas, it was further added. 

In defence, the Indian community has been pointing out that there are several Christian churches and places of worship in India as well, but not many concerns were raised against this here domestically. Cultural practises are bound to change based on the growing population and it is not right to target religious beliefs just for media attention, a social media user posted.
