Another tragic news involving an Indian student has been reported from abroad as 24-year-old Ludhiana woman Anmoldeep Kaur, who had moved to Canada for studies and work in 2021, was found dead on a park bench in Ontario. The mysterious death has shocked the Indian community in Canada.
As per preliminary reports, Kaur went for a usual walk at a park located between her residence and Georgian College in Barrie. She reportedly sat motionless on a bench after her walk, which drew the attention of the public inside the park. When a few of them tried to evoke a response from her, she didn’t respond and it was noticed that she was not breathing.
The local police was immediately alerted as she was unresponsive. Unfortunately, Kaur passed away even before medical treatment. The police collected her body for further formalities. They have accessed the CCTV footage of the park and ruled out any other suspicious cause of death.
She was a resident of Nai Abadi, Akalgarh, near Sudhar Bazaar in Ludhiana. Her father informed that she had moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue a career as a childcare professional on a valid work permit and had applied for permanent residency about a year ago. The news about her death has sent the family into a state of despair and shock.
Kaur’s brother Dilpreet Singh, who is residing in the United States, has reached Canada to complete formalities and bring the body back to India.
