3 Indians Killed: What’s Modi Reaction In Front Of Trump?

Something extremely unfortunate happened last week as three Indian sailors who were on a commercial ship at the strait of Hormuz were killed in a horrifying military attack by the United States military.

The intent of this attack was confirmed by the Indian external affairs ministry, and also the United States authorities as well. So there has been this growing pressure on the Indian government to retaliate towards the United States.

On this matter, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sat down with United States, president, Donald Trump and a public communication was issued shortly after. It was reported that the prime minister affirmed the need for safety of Indian seafarers globally.

President Donald Trump, PM Modi highlighted the importance of safeguarding Indian seafarers working across global maritime trade routes, including the Strait of Hormuz.

He said the safety and security of lakhs of Indian seafarers remains a top priority for India amid evolving developments in the region. This communication has been made in front of US president but we shall see if this is enough to pacify the public outcry on this matter since yesterday as people are concerned about safety of Indian sailors.
