Indian Babu Dupes Canadians Of $800K, Warrant Issued

Well, it appears that this spiritual culture has now started to go beyond borders as we are witnessing the case of an Indian Babu who duped many Canadians in the name of spiritual healing.

According to the latest developments, Toronto police are searching for 29-year-old man named Gangadhar Babu who allegedly posed as a psychic to scam a victim out of thousands of dollars.

Between April 2024 and September 2025, he ran the Indian Psychic and Spiritual Healer business, using rituals and threats of death or harm to extract over $800,000 from Canadians and locals.

Police believe there may be more victims and he is wanted Canada-wide on fraud-related charges. But the shocking thing is that he has somehow managed to flea back to India and is no longer on Canadian soil.

It is shocking to see even the educated Canadian population fall prey to these spiritual activities and the fact that this individual named Gangadhar Babu was able to extract $800,000 is an indication of the same.
